Meaning of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a system designed to think and behave in a way that simulates human intelligence.

The First use of artificial intelligence was in mainframe computers to solve complex calculations; these days, artificial intelligences are everywhere- from robots that take care of the elderly, to virtual assistants and chatbots living on our mobile devices.

History of Artificial Intelligence

• First AI work in 1943 done by Warren McCulloch and Walter Pits also known as Walter Hary Pits, now we recognized them as Artificial Neurons.

• Donald Hebb was Psychologist and he great expertise in neurophysiology. In 1949 he explains that how neuron contributes to psychological processes such as learning, and this is called Hebbian learning.

Birth of Artificial Neurons

• Allen Newell was researcher in computer science and cognitive psychology. Herbert A. Simon was work in field of computer science, economist and cognitive psychology. In 1955 Allen Newell and Herbert A. Simon with programmer J. C. Shaw, they create first Artificial Intelligence program. And name of first Artificial Intelligence program is "Logic Theorist".

Other History Information of Artificial Intelligence

• Duration between 1974 to 1980 AI market is market is balance due to shortage of funding from government. Computer Scientist trying to deal with government for funding. But solely AI take charge in market, for example 1997, IBM Deep Blue became the first computer champion in chess after beat world chess champion Gary Kasparov. Now Facebook, Twitter, Google etc. all these businesses are totally based on AI.  

Type of Artificial Intelligence

            There are many types of AI exists, but mainly two type of AI categorized Fist one is based on capabilities and second is based on functional.

        Reactive Machine: -

It is oldest and limited skilled AI. It is the most basic type of AI. It means that they cannot use their past experiences or memories for enhance their current decision making. In these Machine there is no concept of word, they just perform task according to how they were programmed. One of the best examples is IBM Deep Blue. Because this idea is just designed to defeat chess players.

        Limit Memory: -

Limit Memory store past experience and use those experience for current decision. This memory store data for short time. One of the best examples is self-deriving car.

Theory of Mind: - 

As name suggests Theory of Mind kind of AI understand human feeling, emotion thought and behave like human. One of the main features of these kind of AI interact social. Theory of Mindis advance form of AI, currently These type of AI in developing stage but best examples is Sophia and Kismat.

        Self-Aware AI: - 

This type of AI machine is advance level of intelligent and will have their own consciousness, self-awareness AI. This is next generation of AI as compared to Theory of Mind type of AI. Currently this type of AI does not exist, but it can be in coming future.

        Narrow AI or Weak AI: -

Narrow or weak AI this kind of AI dedicated intelligence kind of AI which mean it has dedicated task performance but multiple tasks at same time as computer. Narrow AI has limited field so it cannot perform beyond field. One of the best examples of Narrow AI is Google Assistant, Alexa and Siri.

        Artificial General Intelligence: -

As name suggests Artificial General Intelligence perform any task with great intellectual and efficiency. Behind this type of AI idea is perform task like human but in smarter way.

        Artificial Superintelligence: -

Artificial Superintelligence this type of AI come in super intelligent level, so he performs task better than human and more efficient and effective way. But currently this type of AI is just hypothetical idea.

This type of AI we just imagine in sci-fi movie until now.

1. Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare: - Artificial Intelligence enter in healthcare sector is one of the best times. Because before AI generation hospital sector fully traditional which mean finding dieses or treatment without any machine. Without machine or any technology difficult to find dieses or treatment and give accurate result related with dieses. But with help of AI, it's helpful to find dieses and give accurate treatment.
2. Artificial Intelligence in Education: - Because of the diverse nature of our education system, it's very hard for one teacher to go over all the different concepts that are needed for a single student in school and help them understand them at their level; this is where AI comes into play an important role to provide verity of information according to student choice and understanding level.
3. Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture: - Agriculture sector, traditionally this sector is based on monsoon and monsoon not in human control or called un-predictive. And because of un-predictive nature lot of time this sector face lot of issue, but with AI technology it is possible to predict monsoon condition with this prediction farmer use this information to get better crop result.
4. Artificial Intelligence in Engineering Application: - The introduction of AI into engineering applications is revolutionizing the way engineers work, allowing them to work more quickly and efficiently. It is helping to reduce errors and speed up processes, enabling engineers to complete tasks faster than ever before. AI's ability to analyze data faster and from a variety of sources gives it an advantage over traditional methods, providing engineers with better insights that can lead to smarter decisions. AI also provides greater automation in many areas, which means fewer manual steps for engineers when completing their tasks. For example, automated flight systems enable aircrafts to fly without pilots or co-pilots by using sensors and other advanced technology. This enables aircrafts to take off, land and navigate autonomously—a task that was previously impossible with traditional engineering techniques alone.  

Future of Artificial Intelligence 

Future of Artificial Intelligence its very promising. Not just our life but AI change in thing in the world even AI give another way of thought. I mean to say we think little bit in better way give unexpected result. Undoubtfully Artificial Intelligence change computer science from backfoot to main frame computer like it changes technology like big data, robot and lot more thing. AI not just change human life it changes every in this world. Now come to conclusion lot more thing to say about future of AI but now I want to say AI just not focus only human life but every living thing in this world.

AI in our daily routine Life

In current time we can AI anywhere and it became part of our daily file uses and without them our daily file is totally unbalance. We cannot live without them. I mean to say that we are totally dependent on AI now. Some of examples given below: -

    Google Map: -

    In today time uses of Google map is not new thing, whenever we need to go new address, we use google map. We just mention new address than with help of GPS google map give road map of our destination and this app become part of our daily life uses.

        We all use electronic gadget like Mobile Phone or Laptop so whenever we type any text on document or messages then by mistake type incorrect text then text autocorrection AI automatically type correct text. 

    

    Face Detection: -

    Face detection this is not new technology in current generation because we use face detection to unlock our phone. In this technology AI measure our facial feature like eye, nose, lips, even our face alignment.       

    Online Payment: -

    This is not easy to go Bank every time for our daily expenses. Now with AI Online payment option come and make our life so easy we did not need to rush to bank.

    Digital Assistant: -

    Siri is best example as Digital Assistant. We just need to say Siri play some music or sent message to my father or any other kind of small task than its Automatically digital assistant completes your task.

    Smart Home Devices: -

    This is amazing to say that smart home devices are wonderful AI idea, with smart home devices we control our home devices just one click or may be control through your order.
